A few years back we did a pondless waterfall, a stacked stone bench, and a landscaping job for some great clients in Ponte Vedra. I went by to drop off some extra mulch, and Pam volunteered to do an impromptu testimonial. I asked if she would go on video, got prepped, and took video all in 1 take, within 3 minutes. I lost a minute trying to get Steve in the video, but he was in his yard work uniform, and declined. Haha!
I have an uncanny knack of reading people, and I got some good vibes from the Alpert's. It was a very serendipitous first meeting (Note: Extreme serendipity like this is a daily occurance in my life). We happened to be in Sawmill Lakes in Ponte Vedra cleaning up an existing client's landscape and waterfall, and I get a call from Steve inquiring about a pondless waterfall. He told me he found us on Angie's List, and was interested in getting a quote.
The quirky thing about it was that Steve lives in Sawmill Lakes too! Not to mention our other client gave one of our testimonials that he was reading on Angie's List. Our minds were blown by the coincidence, and within 5 minutes Steve was at our other client's house checking out our pondless waterfall. They seemed like a perfect match. I was told later that they never even called the other companies on their list back.
They were creating a dream backyard, and wanted a sweet waterfall to complement the view of the lake behind the house. They were doing a screen enclosure, pavers, pondelss waterfall, stacked stone bench, landscaping, and LED landscape lighting (We ended up doing some irrigation work, sod, and a landscape cleanup too.)

I could tell they were genuine, and were REALLY, REALLY, into the project. Pam actually went to the rock store with me, and picked out the stone to be used. It's been like 5 years, but I think both of them went to the plant store to pick out the plants.
Steve was there during just about the whole project. He helped us where he could transplanting some of the shrubs we had to relocate.
They take a lot of pride in putting fresh flowers in the little planting pockets around the waterfall. When I inquired about the feature the day I got this video, the said it looked, "terrible".
LOOKED PRETTY SWEET TO ME!
